Between the chambers there are valves in the heart, the valves control the flow of blood, making sure it flows in one direction. Blood Vessels= Blood vessels are a series of tubing that carries blood to and from the heart. The oxygenated blood leave the heart and supplies oxygen and nutrients to your body via the arteries. After going through the capillaries, veins return deoxygenated and waste products to the heart, (through the vena cova). After leaving the right ventricle through the pulomonary arteries, the blood gets oxygenated in the lungs, gets rid of carbon dioxide from the body and then returns to the left atrium from the pulmonary vein, then the left ventricle to repeat the process again.
